The humble t-shirt has become something of a fashion icon in the past years. What was once no more than a undergarment has risen to some lofty heights. There are t-shirts of all types available now. You can fins hand painted ones and those that are created from artist sketches. There are incredibly expensive designer t-shirts and also collectible retro shirts that people will pay big money for.
While retro has made a strong comeback, finding a original vintage t-shirt is getting harder and harder to do. Too many years of being worn and cleaned has put many of these t-shirts out of commission. But for those that have survived, they are great for reminding us of all the memorable fond memories of our youth and making us collectors.
Today's t-shirt collectors are not just into collecting the older vintage retro shirts; they also collect the new designs from up and coming artists. These designs are original drawings and paintings that sometimes end up being part of limited edition collections. This makes these t-shirts more desirable and collectible because once the editions have been sold out they can no longer be purchased except in resale situations.
While 100% cotton is the traditional material used for t-shirts, alot of the new collectors shirts are being made with bamboo fibers. These not only look and feel good, they keep their shape very well and have been known for their resistance to odors. Add all this, plus the coolness of one of these shirts and you have a soft quality made good looking shirt.
The look of these collectible t-shirts comes straight from a working artist. Who is better to create an incredible design that will be coveted by tons of people than an artist. There really is no end to the creative juices that flow with these people and for them they need to get their work seen.
There are tons of awesome T shirts out there waiting to be found. Everyone needs at least one T shirt that makes the feel like the master of the world.
