The Specificity of Horoscope Readings

When it comes to astrology, the devil is in the details. No, I don't mean this in the sense of evil, but more in the sense of the accuracy of a particular reading. This is just as true for the accuracy of reading related to a particular sign.
It's Monday morning. You've just arrived at work, fired up the computer and made sure no crisis has unfolded over the weekend. It is going to be a busy day. So, your first step is to check your horoscope for the day. You look online or in the paper under your sign. You see that the Leo faces a day of conflicts that the Leo will successfully overcome and gain much prestige for doing so with associates. But just how accurate is this reading?
A horoscope reading is only as accurate as the specificity used to come up with it. Huh? Well, the issue boils down to the simple fact that the more information there is to enter into a chart, the more accurate the reading will be. Let's consider natal readings as an example.
What is a natal reading? It is a reading about a person based on their birth date. It is not enough to say you were born on May 16, 1989. There are 12 houses of astrology. On a daily basis, each accounts for roughly 2 hours of time depending on the system being used to do the reading. If you were born at 2 AM, you might have been born with Aries ascending. If you were born at 2 PM, you might have been born with Capricorn ascending. These two houses will result in very different natal readings.
Most people know their "sign". "I'm a GeminiI'm a PiscesI'm a Libraand so goes the story. These are your sun signs, but they are only based on a roughly 30 day period. If a natal reading can change every 2 hours, how much do you think a reading can change over 30 days? A lot!
I am not suggesting that you should disregard general attributes assigned to signs. That being said, they should be taken with a very big grain of salt. They are very general and there are lots of exceptions. The fact you've met someone who is a sign that is not generally compatible with your sign means nothing. There are massive variations within each sign. To find out the real situation, get a more accurate reading specific to both him and you.
Specificity is the key when it comes to accurate astrology readings. The more you provide, the more you will get.
