Excellent Photography Locations near Newport Coast in Orange County

Newport Coast California and a 20 mile radius around the city contain some of the most beautiful locations for portrait photography in the country. Whether you are flying in for a beach house vacation and family reunion or are fortunate enough to live in the temperate paradise, consider the advantages to having your photographer shoot in one of these locations.
Crystal Cove State Park- Cyrstal Cove State park is a beautiful location that can be accessed by anyone in Newport Coast in 5 min. It’s free to get in (although there is a charge for parking – which you can have validated by eating at the local resturant). It has beautiful locations for a photographer to shoot in the woods, at the beach, and behind rustic old buildings. Vacationers who are renting the beach houses can conveniently use the park as their portrait location.
Woods Cove in nearby Laguna Beach- This beach has the advantage of being somewhat unknown, which means your portraits will look unique from those of everyone else who lives or vacationed in Newport Coast. This location is fun for small kids and thus terrific for family portraits. There are tide pools and caves to play in. Seashells and sea crabs abound. There is a stair way build right into the rocks. Parking however in this location is limited, so plan ahead. Also, because of tides, there are certain times of the day when available shoot locations are limited. Your local photographer should be able to advise you on the best times to shoot.
Victoria Beach in nearby Laguna Beach- This beach has many beautiful rock locations for portrait posing. An impressive Castle Structure can be utilized for your local portraits. This beach is extensive so there is little danger of having a setting that is too crowded. The available settings are varied. Many settings have beach houses in the back ground. For some this is a distraction, others like the look. Parking is limited.
Next to the choice of your photographer, the choice of location will be the largest determinent for success in obtaining fine portrait art. Whether you live in Newport Coast, are renting a local beach house, or just vacationing anywhere in Orange County, choosing any of these locations for your personal, family, engagement , or wedding portrait will provide an excellent opportunity to capture a wide variety of artistic shots.
