Entertainment for Small Children

The Gold Coast would not be the same without it's many theme parks. With so many to choose from, it's hard to know which ones are better for the younger children, and some frankly are better than others. Sea World is by far the best for the little ones. The dolphin show alone will amaze them, but it is Sesame street Beach that they will love the most. The adventurous preeschoolers will love to ride the Vikings Revenge Canoe ride, and for the not so scared little ones they can enjoy the bermuda triangle ride. Ray reef is another of the many kid friendly activities at Sea World where they can touch the rays and view sharks in Shark Bay.
Dream world offers less rides for the little ones, however Wiggles World is located here. The ride on the big red car is thrilling for the little ones, but parents beware, there is a gift shop that is unavoidable. The petting zoo and Nickelodeon Central are other attractions here for the little tykes.
Lamington National Park, while not a theme park iw another great adventure for families. O'rielly'e Rainforest Retreat is located in the park's Green Mountain section where stroller friendly boardwalks have been constructed to walk up to the Tree Top Canopy which is fun to explore and best of all free!
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is another must see. The main point of interest for the kids is the opportunity to cuddle with a koala, as well as hand feed other wildlife. The train ride and bird show are other great points of interest. The list of animals here include crocs, dingoes, and massive snakes along with many more for your amusement.
Local Surf Clubs are a great option for inexpensive entertainment and food for kids, Most have child friendly atmosphere as well a interesting child friendly menus that offer more than just nuggets and fries. Northcliffe is a favorite for most families because of the ice cream which follows the meal.
