The much anticipated “Danny the Dragon 'Meets Jimmy” (http://DannyTheDragon.com) is the first in a series of children's books that was released in May 2009 by Imagination Publishing Group. The book, by author Tina Turbin, not only has a story that will keep their interest, but contains a rainbow of colorful illustrations by award winning illustrator, Aija Jasuna. “Danny the Dragon” is a children's picture book with words and has already delighted the hearts of many children who are stammering for the next in the series.

Mythical creatures have always been a hot topic with kids. They are a symbol of good fortune and a sign of power and are loved by both girls and boys. Though fire spouting creatures might sound scary, they are more frequently portrayed as friendly characters. Tina Turbin has done just that. Danny the Dragon goes around performing good deeds while Jimmy tags along, learning from him while having exciting adventures that your children will love.

While helping to develop the minds of our children, especially at a young age, picture books are ideal for kids. “Danny the Dragon” has beautiful illustrations that children love plus the story that they can read or listen to while it is being read aloud. “Danny the Dragon” is like getting two books in one. While reading to a child, it is certain that many of you have experienced a child's minds wondering off. This just does not occur with this boo. This children's book is simple enough for them to understand and keeps their interest from the very start. It not only illustrates the story, but develops their creative imaginations as you read along. Children who have already learned to read will enjoy reading “Danny the Dragon” over and over again.

Have you ever noticed that a child will have a tendency to continue creating a story from a fictional story that you have told them or read to them? It helps them develop their own imaginations, creating our future artists, authors, musicians and what have you. “Danny the Dragon” is a “must read” on your children's book list. It is one that children will not only read over and over, but one that they will want to keep on their bookshelves for years to come.
