Family music
Going through music school for a short period of time learning primarily by music theory early in my life, I didn't get much of the actual acoustic guitar training that I wanted. This led me to self-taught books and expensive one on one guitar teacher for the longest time. I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on this sort of thing. You have to remember back in the 80's and early 90's that's pretty much all there was. There was no Internet. Later on, I had a family and my guitar playing had to go on the back burner for a while. One day we took a trip to Tom Lee music and one of my sons showed an interest in playing guitar, on one of those 3/4 mini Fender Stats. My son and me love to jam to music together. We don't need a drummer, because they are hard to find anyway so we, researched the Internet to resolve our problem. Whether the instrument is a guitar, vocals, or fiddle music brings a family together. You don't have to spend a lot of money on an instrument.

Bristol has been named the most musical city in Britain in a survey published by the Performing Rights Society this week.
According to the survey, the city, which is home to Massive Attack, Tricky and Portishead, has produced more musicians relative to population size than any other in the UK. This puts it ahead of traditional creative hot spots such as Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool.
Massive Attack's Daddy G said despite the city's association with the slave trade, Bristol's multi cultural population has helped create an interesting music scene: “There's a huge West Indian population in Bristol, which is really amazing because it's helped influence the sound and the textures of Bristol.

We've all had those times where we've ran out of music to listen to, or just bought a new iPod and have no music to put onto it. Well, from personal experience, I've found quite a few ways to fill up songs, quickly and easily.
music Discovery What you should always start out with is some basic tunes – at least enough so that other programs will have a reference. Last.fm, YouTube, and Songr are all resources you should consider, especially if you already have a favorite genre or artist. Last.fm will allow for you to enter a favorite artist and hear tunes by them. YouTube has many music videos, each with their respective view numbers and vote numbers (these digits can be used as a reference point). If you have completely no idea what you like, Songr's homepage will give you a list of songs others like; otherwise, just search up your favorite artist to find their tunes.

The evolution of punk in the United States of America and United Kingdom is around four to five decades old, but today it has evolved as one of the most stylish and unique subculture. You can easily recognize a punk from a crowd of millions because they prefer to look different from the rest through their clothing patterns and hairstyles.
Today, you might see punk culture very much alive and kicking on the sidelines with us and they are gradually spreading into different areas like films, fashion videos and our culture too. Punk evolved out of many philosophical, artistic movements and other economic reasons that were raging during the early 1970s. One of the main reasons was the economic recession that happened then and the youth was all out on streets expressing their anger and incompetent government policies. Some of the earliest forms of punk are protopunk and glam punk that developed in Detroit, Boston and New York City.

Partying to great live music at a festival with thousands of other fans is many people's idea of the ultimate fun. Even those who are not normally crazy about camping get swept up by the high spirits and carefree mood. Which is good, to a point. Benign though the vibe may be, festivals aren't criminal-free zones and protecting yourself remains crucial.
Criminals do target music festivals and concerts. Criminals read newspapers to find events they can target, and then pickpocket and steal cars there. Common crimes include theft, assault when drunk or drugged people get into fights, drug possession, drug dealing and the illegal distribution of alcohol. Drug and alcohol abuse is common practice and unfortunately this leads directly to an increase in crime, even violent crime. There have also been cases where young women have left the event with a stranger and been raped outside the event.

MJ is no more, long live brand MJ.
Even before the Tweets had quietened, there were blogs about MJ's childhood, his Moonwalk, his music and his life, and the brand he chose to live.
There! While you were not looking, I slipped in that weasel word, " brand" just to check if you recoiled with surprise;-)!
Call me old-fashioned, but just how does a human being become a brand?
Apparently, there is a thriving business around a concept called Personal Branding.
Is this just one more way of adding zing to a jaded word thus drawing attention to (and creating revenue for) the author? Or is there something valuable in this idea?
As I start digging into the history of that word, I discover conflicting data.
