Kiss has been known as much for their bizarre campy theatrics as for their music and some might argue more so. The band became a favorite of American teens during the 1970s, who latched onto their remarkable style of dress, wild hair and lavish face paint. Kiss broke any rules of conformity and opted for flamboyant costumes, wild makeup and riveting performances that did not skimp on the dry ice, smoke bombs and blood spitting. They could easily pack a stadium with legions of devoted followers, many of whom were exhibiting their own wild fashion styles.

Apparently more than 150 musical artists are already lined up for this year's VooDoo Experience, scheduled to take place October 30th through the 1st of Novemeber in New Orleans, Louisiana. The big boys at the front of the lineup are none other than rough rock 'n' roll icons Kiss. They will be joined by the recently reunited Jane's Addiction and Eminem, among others. Although the official schedule has not yet been announced, it is rumored that Kiss will take the stage on Halloween night, making for a delightfully frightening experience. “Single Ladies” singer Beyonce is nominated for five honors at the Black Entertainment Television Awards show, and organizers recently revealed that she will also perform at the event, set to be broadcast live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on June 28. Beyonce is joining a lineup already featuring Kanye West, Young Jeezy, Maxwell, Ne-Yo and Soulja Boy, who are all slated to perform at the BET Awards, which will be hosted by Jamie Foxx. Beyonce's husband, rap mogul Jay-Z, will also be in attendance at the awards show, but the couple is likely to skip the walking of the red carpet together, as they are known for keeping their relationship out of the public eye.
